Is the following sentence grammatical? I want to know if I have used the phrase 'being...' correctly.

1- Zebras being able to see well by day and night have excellent eyesight.

When I first saw the thread, I did not think it was a genuine question, but I decided to give the OP the benefit of the doubt, so I did not comment. Now, I am even more suspicious. For some reason, the OP's posts remind me of a veteran member who asks such questions but who hasn't posted in a while.
