On behalf of his daughter, he's going to inflict retribution on his daughter's killer.

Not in British newspapers. I'd onlt trust the essentials here- football scores, mostly.

He could avenge his daughter's killing perhaps, but certainly not her killer.

Perhaps:
  • He swears revenge on his daughter's kller.
