Post [Tdol's Blog] Beneath Contempt

I saw a job advert today for a teaching post in Spain that was quite possibly the worst job I have ever seen advertised in ESL: Are you interested in teaching English in Spain? We need one person who can...

Good for you Tdol. Though I think bankruptcy may be too good for them. The word 'plague' came into my mind on reading your blog.

Send them some frogs and tell them one is a fully ESL qualified prince.

Happy New Year to everyone (except some unnamed folk in Spain).

I can't believe my eyes. Maybe it's a joke. One must have a huge amount of money in the bank before taking that job.

Teaching English is still a profession that you can get into shortly after getting off the plane. Perhaps they'll find an "English professional" with a backback at the local information centre? Though, since they also withhold wages for two month, they might have trouble for even that.

There are a lot of scummy English schools to work for in Japan, too.
