Default word list

I was reading your word list part, arabic loan words and I encountered some words that I'm pretty sure at least one of them is not arabic. Now I got two questions:

1-Who has written that list and what is the resource of that?

2-I also noticed there is not a part for Persian loan words, could I make a list of them? How?

Regards,Amir

Which one? I honestly can't remember where they came from- a combination of sources in most cases. If you send me a list to my email or private message, I will add it to the site. Many thanks.

I would just like to add for the record that the Latin list does sport some strange words and since atlaisha brought up the subject ....

would it be possible to add some /offer corrections? (no offence meant)

Endless thanks for adding the list!
but I just noticed the list you have added is not the complete list of either of the links,so could I possibly ask how you selected those words?

Some good words are ruled out I think, like:
Cummerbund,rook,Salamander,rhubarb,serendipity,taf feta,jasmine,divan
