    Default to be lectured/ to have a lecture

    Dear teachers,

    Would you share with me your opinion concening the following sentences?
    The doctor lectured me for going out too soon.
    Professor Myers lectures to the students on literature.
    We were lectured for beeng late.
    We have two lectures on Wednesdays.
    We had a very interesting lecture yeaterday.
    Thank you for your efforts.

    We were lectured for being late. Yes, but see spelling of "being". Also, "He/she/the teacher lectured us for being late" would be a little better.

    We have two lectures on Wednesdays. Yes, or "We have two lectures on a Wednesday".

    We had a very interesting lecture yesterday. Yes, but see spelling of "yesterday".
