    Never mind the object(s).
    Do you say 'toy is' or 'toy are'?

    my favourite toy (singular) IS ..

    There is only one favourite. The verb agrees with the noun favourite.
    You can have favouriteS and then use ARE

    You could also say favourite toyS are
