became understood
Does this make sense to say that:
Superconductivity became understood since BCS's proposed their theory?
Does the sentence imply "the BCS's theory can explain superconductivity"?
Thanks.
Have a nice day.

Re: became understood
It doesn't really make sense, it would be better to say either:
Superconductivity was understood when BCS's proposed their theory
or
Superconductivity has been understood since BCS's proposed their theory
Both sentences imply "the BCS's theory can explain superconductivity".
