Dear All,
Is it correct to use the introductory phrase "As you aware"?
Example: As you aware, the point is still pending.
I think it should be: As you are aware, the point is still pending.
Please tell me which one is correct.

The correct version is "as you are aware". You are correct!

To be aware of smth....
"As you are aware of it " sounds a little bit awkward to my ear...
"As you know" is better, I think....

And "As you are aware..." is better than "As you know of it..."
Neither of these idioms use "of it" at the end.

I have never heard someone say "As you know of it"... I just say " As you know..."

So both "as you are aware" and "as you know" are as correct and as common as each other.
