If the bus arrive or run ahead of shedule, it will stop at one station to readjust the timing. That way, it will arrive at the next stop or timepoint on schedule.
In the real world, this never happens. I'm not sure what your question is.
There is nothing wrong with "readjust the timing" it is just that this usually means to adjust some parts of an automobile's engine. I don't believe that the bus driver wants to readjust the timing - he wants to adjust the timing. The driver wants to adjust the timing to be in accordance with the schedule. I would get away from this entire problem of adjusting by writing, "...will stop at a station and wait to get back on schedule."
