    Default So was mine

    When you top off a conversation you say:

    "It's been a pleasure!"

    The reply would be "So was mine". We use Past Simple here?

    No, "so was mine" is not correct. There are a couple of possibilities:
    "Likewise" , informal.
    "The pleasure was all mine" more formal.

    'So was mine' could only be used if 'pleasure' was the subject of the first sentence, and then only if it was qualified by an adjective. So this would be possible (if unlikely):

    My pleasure was unbounded.
    So was mine.
