Yes, baseball, of course. I should have read more. The emphasis is mine here:
-poses as: catcher, Roy Chapel, #2; from the Great North League (Alaska); has played all over, Venezuela, Portland, South Korea; per Hardison, drafted in 6th round right out of high school, had a cup of coffee in the Royals organization, bounced around the minors, bounced around the world, made a very popular commercial for an energy drink in Japan
-doesn’t like baseball (doesn’t like any sport where you can’t score on defense)
-as Roy, starts rumor that the team is moving
-takes batting practice (BP)
-plays baseball: calls game and gets runner out (tosses him over shoulder); hit walk off single in the 9th to win the game; PJ Philbins named a reuben after him
