    Default To put something into perspective

    Dear teachers,

    May I ask what the meanings of the following phrases are?
    • To put things into perspective;
    • To put one's own role into perspective.
    Thanks for helping.

    ***not a teacher***

    For sure you'll get better answers, but this is what I think might be related. If you keep things in perspective, you analyse the situation well, and think the possible choices over to make the best decision. This could also involve comparing the alternatives, and predicting the possible results of the decision you're going to make.

    Let's still wait for other posts please.
