    Default Are quote marks needed?

A strong life force will generate a strong immune system in our body. We call it "Oneness of body and mind".

Should the part in bold be within quote marks? I am confused because we can say My dog is called Darkie. (No quote marks.)

    Thanks.

    .
We don't normally use quotation marks for personal name. In the following sentence, many people would use them where I have:

My first name is Jon, but most people call me "Five" or "Jed".
