The climbers were caught in heavy rain. Does "caught in" mean stuck in rain or just meet rain?
ex)The climbers were caught in heavy rain.

They were outside in the rain with no shelter to keep them dry. That's what being "caught in the rain" means.

Re: The climbers were caught in heavy rain. It means that you are going to get wet. It has nothing to do with not being able to move.
