Default Does this phrase make sense?

I wanna relate my study to my life, can i put it like this,

"Even if you've chosen a subject you hate, you still have to face it and work on it, so as life"

If it is grammetically wrong or do not make any sense , how to correct it

    Thanks in advance

Are you referring to an academic subject?

The last part should be "as you do in life" but I"m not sure about the middle, with the "face it and work on it."

PS - Welcome to the forums.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
