Default short forms of verb to be

If we say "Is Mary beautiful? " and we say "No , she is not" is it wrong?
Should we olny reply using the short form "No ,she isn't"?

    Thank you

The contracted form is the normal one in conversation, but the full form is acceptable, especially if we wish to stress 'not'.

Snoopya - we put a space after a comma, not before.
