    Default What is salvage dealers?

    Hi,

    Please read sentences below:

a: We provides products and services for Auto, Hydraulic, Farm, and Construction Equipment parts and salvage dealers.

b: If you are an end user looking for a parts supplier please view our listing of salvage companies at tractor-part.com

My question is, what do salvage dealer or salvage companies mean? Do they mean that the parts they provide are used and revised?

    Thanks in advance.

When a vehicle has been written off by an insurance company, for example, is a salvage vehicle, meaning it's not worth repairing. However, people may want to buy parts from the car or even try to rebuild it as a cheap way of getting a car. People who sell such parts are salvage dealers.

There's an article about it here: http://www.autos.com/car-buying/salv...s-a-definition
