Default I was getting more and more angry

    Dear teachers,

I was getting more and more angry the more thinking I did.
It should be “The more thinking I did the more angry I was getting”. Is that right?
And I think we should say “the angrier I was getting”. Is that right?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Thank you in advance.

The original sentence is fine, save that it lacks a comma. (I have googled the original and the comma is there. Please pay attention to punctuation.) Your sentence is also good and it means the same. It also needs a comma.

    "More angry" is fine.
