"Pergamon […] was an ancient Greek city in modern-day Turkey, [...] that became the capital of the Kingdom of Pergamon during the Hellenistic period, under the Attalid dynasty, 281–133 BC."
Pergamon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Why said modern-day?
"modern-day Turkey" = i.e. the area is NOW part of Turkey, but wasn't part of Turkey during the other periods mentioned.
Hope this helps

PS It used to be part of Greece - as per your thread's title
Wow. What an entirely horrible question. I was thinking that it IS a city that closely resembles what a city in ancient Greece would have looked like, and that it does exist in modern-day Turkey.
I need to stop being astonished by how bad these questions are.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
