Can i use "the" before street names? Can i use "the" before street names? I mean is it right to say "I live in the wall street"

Teacher Re: Can i use "the" before street names? No, though there are a few streets/roads in England that have the definite article for some reason. The Kings Road in Chelsea is one of these.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.

Teacher Re: Can i use "the" before street names? Both are right in this sense. As far as I know, "on" is preferred in American English.
