1. Bo and Tim are twins boy and girl.

2. May and June are twins girls.

Are the above sentences correct?

The first sentence gives me difficulty because while I suppose Bo could be a boy's or a girl's name, Tim is definitely a male name. So when the sexes of the twins are listed later in the sentence, they should correspond to the names given.

'Bo and Tim are twins, a girl and a boy.'

That is how I would write the sentence for the sake of clarity.

The other two sentences are correct.

They are twin girls.
The couple had twins.
The couple have twins, a boy and a girl.
My aunt and uncle have identical twin daughters.
