Default Use of "cc" in a business letter

Is "cc" still appropriate at the bottom of a business letter when other people are to be copied? A person I know in PR tells me that it is no longer used, but that "c" is correct.

Unless you work in an organizaiton that has a house style and that internal style says to use "c" I would use "cc."

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    Welcome to the forum, Imabry.

'Cc' may eventually become obsolete, but it is still widely used and understood, especially as it appears as an option for everybody writing an email.

Oops. I didn't notice it was your first post.

I also welcome you, albeit belatedly.
