Please leave the parcel in the box and press the push button to lock

Please leave parcel(s) in box, and press X to lock.

With this box Secure Home Parcel Delivery Boxes, Security Cabinets & Mail Post Boxes, Drop & Package Delivery Box - Hippo Box UK, X is a handle.

Thank you, but if it's got a button in front of it, and you open it from the top to put a parcel in, could it be:

Please leave parcel in box and press button to lock?

not to confuse a postman trying to push the top down to lock, instead of the button.

If X is a button, then use the word 'button'.

    I'd write: Please leave parcel(s)...
