is the a reason why the modal perfect is formed:
"He may have + past participle" and not "He may has + past participle" as the Simple Present Perfect does?![]()
Modals are always followed by a bare infinitive:
He may come..... he may be coming..... he may have come .....he may have been coming
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
There is no significance in my use of the indefinite article and bhai's of the definite - except that, by typing two fewer letters than bhai, I beat him to the draw.![]()
