    Default Comma question (Independant clause)

    Ex:

Company A has one car, and company B has three.

    Q. Is the red part considered as an independant clause even though it is missing the word "cars"?

If it is then putting a comma is correct?

*I am aware that the comma can be omitted because the length is short but I wanna know if comma can be used there (because the clause in red is an independant clause).

    Thanks in advance.

Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
