educational facility vs. educational institution

Hello everyone!
Could you please explain to me the difference between the "educational facility" and "educational institution"?

I'm translating a chapter for a report and the title of the chapter is something like "Interactions with Educational Facilities/Istitutions".
The chapter describes interactions of an industrial company with universities and colleges to train young professionals for the company.

I think I prefer 'educational establishments'.

On reflection, I'd probably just say 'universities and colleges'.

A business which works from a building which has a few classrooms in which its employees are trained (either by the company's own trainers or by an outside source) could be said to have an "educational facility".

The school, college or university across the road from that building is an "educational establishment" or "educational institution".

PS - I have added "educational institution" after seeing your post which said you thought "establishment" was used more in BrE. It was my error not to include "institution" the first time. I think we use them fairly equally.

What I see from the above responses is that the British tend to use Educational Establishment rather than Institution. What about the U.S.?

My reading of Cyrillic isn't great but isn't the last word "Technical"? Or is a техникум a Vocational School?

No, it is not "technical". "Technical" would be "технический" in Russian. "Техникум" is actually a noun that stands for an educational establishment/institution where technical specialists are trained (they are not engineers with higher education; it all is usually related to workers and the top position that graduates could occupy is a foreman or something like that). It's part of high (not higher or tertiary) professional education in Russia.
I thought it should be a Vocational School. I do not know if I'm right with it.

We used to have those in the UK, conveniently called 'Technical Colleges" and known colloquially as 'Techs'. But the've all been renamed nor: if you see 'University of the name>', it may well have started life as a tech. (Ealing Tech, where one of my brothers and one of my sisters both studied, is now "the University of the Thames Valley, Ealing Campus'.)

My Dad and me studied in the same facility/building. The institution turned out to change with time.
In Dad's times it was called Sormovsky Machine Building "Technicum" (which may be called a school for high technical education).
In my times, it was Sormovsky Polytechnic Colledge.
All Institutes became Universities and Academies in my times.
