The trees are coming into leaf
Hello.
This is an example sentence I found in the OALD,
'The trees are coming into leaf'.
Does that mean the process of tree leaves falling down when autumn comes?
Thanks
Alex.

No, it means when the leaves are starting to grow in spring.
