    Default -ing or not -ing

My english book claims the following:

Our tennis team are always looking for new people.

It says that this is wrong: Our tennis team always look for new people.

I thougt we usw present simple if a sentence expresses something that happens regulary, habitual or a general accapted truth.....

    sincerely Dominik

Regularly, thought, accepted (accapted would be pronounced as akapted) & usw is a typo.

The first one is best as the tennis team is still looking for people, as we speak. The action is continuing.

Calis is right. Your English book is wrong.
