Is the following sentence #1 acceptable? If it is, how to phrase the similar idea that we should pay much importance to a common, ordinary CD-ROM, and we shouldn't misuse it as a coaster or a frisbee to cast off.
1. Even a common, ordinary brick wants to be something more than it is.
2. Even a common, ordinary CD-ROM is worth making good use of it.
