    Default united/units/phones

Samsung has cemented its place as the world's leading smartphone seller, taking up almost a third of the market share, after setting a record for the most united shipped in the third quarter.

Is "united" a mistake here? I think it should be "units" or "phones".

If it looks like a typo on the internet, regardless of the source, and logic tells you it's a mistake, then it's probably a mistake. Rolling news places demands on providers- they are in a race to be first, and accuracy may well lose out.
