I have learned these expressions, in middle school, in high school, and at university.

In my sense, university is a bigger one so I think I also can say in university for the same meaning. What do you native English speakers think? Thank you so much as usual and have a good day.

We say, "He's in college," but we don't really say, "He's at university." It sounds like there should at least be either a name or an 'a' before 'university'. It would be best if you used "studying", though. ("He's studying at Uppsalla University.") You could also say ,"He's a student at Uppsalla University."

On the other hand, it's quite normal in AusE to say "He's at university", as in "My little sister is in primary school and my big brother is at university."

I would use "at" for all of them.

My youngest cousin is at primary school, my brother is at junior school, my middle sister is at secondary (high) school and I am at university.

I had a feeling that was the case. It's not terribly common in AmE, if it is used at all. Can't say that I've heard anyone use it here in my experience.
