Reply With Quote'Of' is right - because that happens to be the preposition that we use with 'abreast' in that context.

'abreast of' or 'abreast on' Do keep me abreast on the situation.
OR
Do keep me abreast of the situation.
Which one is right and why?

However, I've heard people mistakenly saying 'on'. 'Up-to-speed on' is acceptable, though 'up-to-speed' smells a bit of MBA to me 
(People often ask to stay in the loop when they want to keep up to speed.)
On the other hand, it's 'au fait with'.
