Default Technical Writing

Hi there everybody,
can u send me tips on how to improve on my writing skills. I have recently shifted from a Marketing job to that of a Technical Writer. What r the things i should concentrate on and what r the sites that i should visit to improve my knowledge on various tools. Also which field should i look forward to work in. Do u feel that i should go for proposal making and the stuff or go for editing of technical manuals.

Please advise.
Thanks
N amrata

Smile Re: Technical Writing

Hi,I often write technical report about equipment,it mainly focus on failure description and new product release etc. Most problem i met in my work is I can't take down some special words and grammar as the foreigner usded to.
so reading the tech report by english speaker is a good way to improve writting ability.

best wish

cooper
