hi! i just wrote a cover letter for an internship at an architectural firm.
it would be great if somebody could correct the mistakes or improve the formulations. thanks a lot in advance!

I am presently finishing my third year of studies at the xyz Institute of Technology, cityname and would like to serve an internship with abc Architects.

My studies covered a wide range of courses and projects through which I have acquired skills in architectural drawing, 3D visualisation and physical model making. Through the development of the skills I have also tried to continue improving craft and skills to creatively approach design challenges.

Abc Architects came to my attention when you won the competition for the new Stadt-Casino in cityname in 2004. I was impressed and attracted by the projects presented in the following exhibition at the Architectural Museum and thenceforward I have followed the developments in your firm with great interest. Now, as a student of architecture, I would consider it an honor to work for abc Architects.
