hi everybody,
I have read some of the other threads in this forum and found them really helpful. Now I tried to formulate a covering letter by myself for an application as a volunteer. It would be great if someone could correct this part of my covering letter:
Your emphasis on empowering local grass roots actors and particularly your attempt to create a comprehensive database of peace building initiatives in conflict areas are very impressive. Thus, I would be very happy to put my skills to good use in your organisation by helping with administrative support and research for “Research Project Name”.
Thank you very much in advance!
The only change I would make would be to change "grass roots" to "grassroots".
Good luck with your application.
Ok, thank you very much for your suggestion!
The verb belongs to the noun phrase your attempt to create a comprehensive database of peace building initiatives in conflict areas.
It is not necessary to thank people in advance (not that I have ever understood that). That's what the "Thanks" button is for.
