I have no sales experience? Does this limit me from getting an interview?
Not really.
You DO need to show knowledge of the product and have enthusiam about the company.
"Sell" yourself to show you can do the job!
I talked about this with my seniors (hs students) last year. They were required to create their own resume and the majority of them had very little work experience.
I agree with susiedqq; the most important thing that employers want to see is that you have the ability to perform the job. Experience helps, but ability is key!
Highlighting your strengths can be easy...just use the correct resume format! Resume writing can be difficult if you try to stick to standard forms like chronological order.
We use this site in class: Four Types of Resumes | Resume Writing Dictionary - Free Online
My students see which resume type fits their needs, and then they check out the rest of the site to see the words that best highlight their strengths.
Good luck getting that job!
