Keep up pace
What's the best way to use the keep up pace phrase? I want to use it for my next year goals.
Although my duty in army is time consuming due to night shifts and all-day services I try to keep up pace and follow my goals for the next year.

Re: Keep up pace
keep up the pace is the phrase. It means to stay current.
WHAT are you doing that you need to be keeping up the pace?
perhaps you meant:
Although my duty in the army is time consuming due to night shifts and all-day services, I try to keep up the pace in my studies in order to meet my goals for the next year.

I think i should use 'my studies' option for academic reasons like pursuing a PhD and 'carrier' when applying for a job. Does it make sense now?
