Default Palyed Ducks and Drakes

Hi,

I would like to know the correct usage of "played ducks and drakes"

And can this idiom be replaced by any other idiom.

What is the correct usage of Chip on My Shoulder..

Thanks

He played ducks and drakes with our money = he wasted it through misuse See here:
Play ducks and drakes

"To have a chip on your shoulder" means to have strong feelings about something that override good sense. See here: Chip on your shoulder
