Red face Fever pitch

Hi,

How would I use "fever pitch" in a sentence.

Is the sentence correct?

The game is in fever pitch.

Thanks

Default Re: Fever pitch

The correct phrase is "at a fever pitch" = at a fast pace

(I have also heard people say "at a fevered pitch", but I'm not sure which is "correct". Possibly both!)

Well I read somewhere that "fever pitch" corresponds to excitement.
