Dear Nicole:

As a native English speaker, what is your best guess as to what these expressions mean?

Best wishes,

Default Re: Stand On Ceremony

Someone (A Lady) asked about the following idiom;
"Don't Stand On Ceremony With Me",
and wanted to know what it meant.

Well, if my knowledge of English idioms has not failed me yet;
it means “don't be formal with me”.
Unless there are some other meanings that I know nothing about!
