Cold Turkey
One idiom that does not grow on me is a "Cold Turkey"
I can see why this or that idiom was invented and used but "Cold Turkey" !!!
I know the meaning - quitting smoking or any addiction cold turkey...I can't feel it...why particularly that?
Anyone has an idea?
