Default The Bigger Picture

There is a common idiom "the big picture," which according to Merriam-Webster means "the entire perspective on a situation or issue." Is there a single word that encompasses this idea? Or more specifically, is there a word that means "a part of the bigger picture"?

Thanks for your help, and I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Not really, which is why the phrase is so commonly used.
