TD: I don't find this idiom via Google search.
2.get on like a house on fire

sb TD: I think just I understand it literally.

TD: I think I understand it literally.

TD: Maybe it is not an idiom, because I don't get any info about it via Google.

P.S. A little bird once advised me that it is not appropriate to use 'sb' if I refer to somebody.

Fools have the best luck
I think it is a saying and it means that best chances are coming only to those who dont know how to take them perfectly

i have heard the following, not certain of the spelling, " WELL THAT BEATS BANNAGHER", i would love to know where it comes from.
