Hello, Could anybody explain what does the sentence "I'm your stomping grounds" mean please?
'stomping grounds' usually means where you hang out or live. It could be a favorite place you go, like a bar or favorite restaurant.
So I am not sure what the "I" means.
Thank you, Looks like I misheard the part of an interview. It was "on your stomping grounds" which clears up everything.
My guess is that it has something to do with someone "running over" someone in the sense of disrespect. I must say that it is not that commonly heard in American-English in general.
