| hi everybody. today i was watching a movie, and when the first actor said: "How do you like them apples?" the other actor replied: "Far Out". Can anybody explain what is the meaning of far out in this case. Thanx |

| Far out is an expression which dates back to the psychedelic sixties (which I participated in more than I care to admit). It was a buzz-word (no pun intended) expressing pleasure and amazement. |
