    Does ' sophisticated ' can be understood as intelligent or fashionable?
    For example, grey hair make me look more sophisticated.

    My English teacher told me that here ' sophisticated' mean fashionable. Is that right?

    Better synonyms here would be "urbane", "worldly" or "gentlemanly".
