Looking for idiom meaning to lose a tail
Hey guys,
I'm not totally sure, but I thought there was an idiom meaning to lose a tail (like a car following you). Does anyone have an idea which idiom I'm talking about? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

not a teacher
