What are the expressions which used to describe colours?

Hello to you all! I've faced with some difficulty while searching complex adjectival phrases which are used for decribing colours, like snowy white, shiny silver or inky blue. Are there any special resourses that may be helpful, or maybe you'll be able to help me with giving some mostly commonly used ones:-) Thanks in advance
