    Default Idioms in English

Please tell me if there is any relationship between the expression "go down the aisle" (or "walk down the aisle") and "get married". Once I read something that could be pointing in that direction, so I just want to be sure.
    Thanks in advance.

Yes, "walk down the aisle" means to get married.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
