buttery butter

In Polish, when we hear a pleonastic expression and want to remark on that, we say "buttery butter". Is there a similar expression in English?

If there is, I've never heard it. Most people in the UK would have absolutely no idea what a pleonastic expression is.

Well, I'm not saying most Poles do. But even those who don't know what a pleonasm is commonly use the expression when they hear a pleonasm.

There was a Monty Python sketch that might get referenced - you might say something like "And then we'll take it up with the Department of Redundancy Department."

In my office, referring to something we once actually got to edit, we might say, "So, you're saying that ultimately, in the end, the final result was..."
